Back in 2004, Kelly Nishimoto created a pair of lounge pants in her garage. WHOA! They were sexy! In fact, she thought they were too sexy to wear in public and she put them in a drawer and forgot about them. One day she had commited herself to training at the gym with a friend of hers. She was running late and everything was dirty. Kelly remembered those sexy pants that she had stuffed in a drawer! she thought to herself, it's just the gym...no one cares. Well, she was wrong. Kelly couldn't even workout because she was stopped EVERY 5 seconds about her pants. It was like she had just found the fountain of youth for a woman's ass-Ets. And it was then that "Cute Booty" was officially born...
Kelly Nishimoto launched Cute Booty Lounge as it's own collection separate from her namesake Collection back in 2008. Her online store was an instant success and her lounge collection caught the eye of swimwear company Beach Bunny. KN ended up private labeling her coveted pants and hoodies for them from 2010-2011.
